Who we are

Naef & Co. is a Nevada-based engineering and procurement firm providing electrical and IT infrastructure services and acquisition support to federal agencies and prime contractors. We are the controller responsible for the personal information described in this Policy. You can reach us using the details in Section 12.

Information we collect

We collect only the information we need to respond to inquiries, deliver our services, and operate our business:

  • Information you provide. When you use our contact form or email or call us, we collect your name, email address, phone number, and the contents of your message.
  • Engagement information. If you become a client, we collect business contact details, project and scope information, and billing details necessary to perform and invoice the work.
  • Payment information. Payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. Card and bank details are collected and processed directly by Stripe; we do not store full payment card numbers on our systems.
  • Technical information. Our web host may automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages visited, for security and to keep the site running.

How we use information

We use personal information to respond to your inquiries; to provide, manage, and improve our services; to process payments and send invoices; to maintain records and comply with legal, tax, and contractual obligations; and to protect the security and integrity of our business and website.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

Payment processing

We use Stripe to process payments. When you make a payment, the information you provide is transmitted to and processed by Stripe in accordance with Stripe’s privacy practices. Stripe acts as an independent controller and/or processor of that data. We encourage you to review the Stripe Privacy Policy to understand how Stripe handles your information.

How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to operate:

  • Service providers. With trusted providers who perform services on our behalf, such as Stripe (payments), our web host, and email or IT providers, under obligations of confidentiality.
  • Legal and compliance. When required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request, including obligations that apply to federal contractors.
  • Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Our website uses only the cookies necessary for the site to function. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required, request your consent.

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described here or as required by law, contract, or applicable recordkeeping obligations. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it.

Nevada residents. Nevada law allows residents to submit a verified request directing a business not to sell certain personal information. We do not sell personal information as defined by Nevada law, but you may still submit a request to us at any time.

Children’s privacy

Our website and services are directed to businesses and government clients, not to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
